ABOUT ABOUT

Join us for a special event on Saturday October 17th at 9am with Dave Sterrett author of numerous best-selling books such as I Am Second, Why Trust Jesus?, Is the Bible True... Really?, and his recent book Aborting Aristotle. Dave will share how Christians can speak courageously, live creatively and love compassionately with bold convictions. General Admission is free or Reserved Seating is $20 with an autographed copy of 'I AM SECOND'.

Dave Sterrett will also be joined by philosopher & author Khaldoun Sweis in a session titled "Blind Spots of Science and the paradox of Anti-Theism." Science (derived from Latin scientia, or 'knowledge') is a way of looking at and researching the world. It is a wonderful gift to make sense of creation and that we have used and are using to make our world a better place. But it has its limits. There are many things science cannot do or help us with, Khaldoun will address 10 of them. Also, Khaldoun will engage the naturlalistic or materialistic worldview that denies the transcendence and the paradoxes that accompany it.
